The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is an event I look forward to every year. This annual fall event brings delicious food from every corner of the globe, super cute merchandise and fun concerts to Epcot. This year’s festival opened in AUGUST this year, and I’ve been lucky enough to check it out a few times already. Keep reading for some of my favorite food, merch and entertainment offerings from the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival 2018.
Food (and Wine of course)
Starting out with some of my favorite (and not so favorite) foods of the festival. Also, Cast Members, did you know you can get 20% off during the week?? You’re SO LUCKY!
If you followed along on my Instagram stories, you know that I’ve been trying to eat my way around the world! Some Festival favorites have returned, as well as delicious new offerings!
MY FAVES (So Far):
SO MUCH CUTE MERCH! I made sure to buy the festival pins, and I’m waiting until my Cast Member roommates get their holiday discount until I go crazy buying up more merchandise.
I loved the Passholder gifts this year! You get the cutest little Chef Mickey Magnet and on your fourth trip to the Festival, a super cute cutting board! The Passholder exclusive merchandise is coming out in waves, starting with some cute Figment clothing, then Chef Mickey merchandise and finally MY BOI REMY!
The theme of the this year’s festival is so fun and cute, with great colors. I love how the Food and Wine Festival 2018 incorporates Mickey, Figment and of course, my boy Remy! This just makes me even more excited for the Ratatouille ride coming soon.
One of the fun offerings of this year is Remy’s Hide and Squeak! Find all of the little Remys throughout the World Showcase and redeem your map for a super cute cup — there are four total designs! Redeem your map at Gateway Gifts or Port of Entry (and don’t make the same mistake I did and stand in a long line at Pin Central to try and redeem your map!)
One of my favorite things to do in the parks is find fun new places to take pictures! The Blue Diamond Almond booth this year (located where the Pineapple Promenade stand is during Flower and Garden) has gorgeous pastel pink paneling. Naturally I had to stop and get a pic! My shirt is from this amazing shop!
I also loved the Festival Center — but let’s be real, I get excited any time the Horizons Center is open to the public. I miss weird Epcot!
Future World Fun
Y’all. Future World is LIT. Epcot Future World has always been one of my favorite places, especially since I worked there during my College Program! (If you want to read more about some of my CP experiences check out this post!)
Food and Wine Festival has brought some amazing new experiences to this underrated land. For starters, the Food and Wine Character Dance Party! Fridays and Saturdays, join fun characters for dancing and games — including REMY AND EMILE!
My roommate Alyssa and I also found our new favorite boy band — In Real Life performed on the Future World stage and we had so much fun dancing and becoming the newest huge fans of this band! We waited to meet them and we’re even going to their show in Orlando in October.
These have just been a few of my first experiences with the Festival this 2018 season, and I can’t wait for more fun, including the candy sushi making, Eat to the Beat concert series, and of course MORE FOOD! Have you been to the Festival yet this year, or have a trip planned? Let me know!
